It’s a strange feeling when fantasy crosses over into reality. Photographing people I’ve known through film, music, or sport becomes something entirely different when you’re spending time with them face to face, in their own space. Those moments off camera, learning who they really are, are a rare privilege, and one I approach with genuine respect and gratitude.
